July 31, 1925: Mail Delivery Begins in Glendora

On this day in 1925, the post office began delivering mail to individual homes in Glendora, reported The Glendora Gleaner.

On this day in 1925, The Glendora Gleaner reported that the post office would begin city delivery, bringing mail to the city’s residents individually. Previously, mail was available through “village delivery.”

With the new system, Glendora residents would need to provide mailboxes and address numbers on their homes.
