Grace Episcopal Celebrates 100th Anniversary
The church will celebrate its anniversary with a public service and luncheon.

A luncheon will follow.
The church, located at 555 E. Mountain View Ave., began in 1910 with a small group of people looking to start an Episcopal Church in Glendora.

For a year, the group met in homes, the Converse Hall (now Nelson’s Drug Store) and the Masonic Hall, until they opened Grace Episcopal Church on Vista Bonita Avenue in June 1912.
The congregation moved to the present location on Mountain View Avenue when the building was completed in 1957.
