Gas Prices Drop To Lowest Level Since February
Average price is 5.7 cents lower than a week ago.
LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped to its lowest amount since Feb. 1 today, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.958.
The average price has dropped 46 times in 47 days, falling 34.2 cents over that span, including 1.1 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 5.7 cents less than one week ago, 19.7 cents lower than one month ago and 25.7 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent today to $3.923, its lowest amount since Feb. 1. It is 6.2 cents less than one week ago, 20.4 cents lower than one month ago and 26.3 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped 49 times in the past 53 days, falling 39.2 cents, including 1.1 cents on Saturday. It had increased 33 times in 34 days before the decreases began, rising 59.7 cents.
