Gas Prices Continue Downward Trend
Prices have fallen for 27 days, officials reported.
LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The streak of decreases to the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was extended today to 27 days, but barely, as it dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.908.
The average price is at its lowest amount since Jan. 31 and 4.1 cents less than one week ago, 18.5 cents lower than one month ago and 27.2 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price also dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $3.876, the lowest amount since Jan. 31 and 3.9 cents less than one week ago, 18.9 cents lower than one month ago and 27.6 cents below what it was one year ago.
