Frank Pastore Update: Pastor Greg Laurie Optimistic About Pastore's Condition

The Christian pastor spoke about KKLA 99.5 radio host Frank Pastore's condition Sunday.

While Frank Pastore, the host of a popular Christian radio show, is still in a coma in critical condition following a major accident on the 210 freeway, Pastor Greg Laurie told the congregation at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Riverside that he saw a slight, but optimistic, improvement in Pastore, according to The Christian Post.

"At one point I said to Frank, 'Frank if you can hear me, twitch your eye.' The moment I said it his eye twitched. So, we were all very excited. We're just praying that God would wake him up."

Laurie also told the congregation that Pastore’s vital signs seemed to be well and that there was no swelling of the brain. An MRI also showed encouraging results, he said.

Pastore was traveling on his motorcycle on the 210 freeway Nov. 19, when a Glendora driver sideswiped Pastore as he was traveling in the carpool lane. He suffered major head injuries and has been in a coma since the accident.

Pastore was on his way home from taping a segment for this radio show, The Frank Pastore Show. In that segment, he spoke of getting into an accident on the 210 freeway in an eerily similar way he did just three hours later.
