Driver Crashes His Car Into Apartment Wall

The man was uninjured after partially sending his car into the building.

No injuries were reported after an elderly driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the wall of an apartment complex Monday morning.

The crash was reported at 9:39 a.m. in the 500 block of East Claraday Street. The crash happened in a a carport to the rear of the complex. Responding officers found the driver of the Toyota Camry uninjured, said Lieutenant Joe Ward of Glendora Police.

The officer also noted the building may have suffered from structural damage and a building inspector was called out to investigate, Ward said.

Why the man lost control of his car was not immediately known.
