City of Hope in Duarte will host the "Blood Drive 4 Chris" and raffle, Sunday, Dec. 15.
The event will be held in honor of Glendora High School graduate Chris Vega who died September 17, 2012, from Leukemia at 18 years old.
In addition to the blood drive, organizers will hold a raffle, with a quilt as the prize. Money generated from the raffle will benefit the City of Hope's family fund, organizers said.
The blood drive and raffle will take place at Henderson Field, 859 East Sierra Madre Avenue, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Raffle tickets are available at the Blood Drive.
