Donate at Local Toy Drop-Off Sites

Local opportunities to donate this holiday season.

Looking to give back this holiday season? There are plenty of opportunities to donate to legitimate organizations that help needy individuals and families during this time of year.

In the spirit of the giving season, Glendora Patch compiled a list of local donation drop off centers to help needy children enjoy their holiday season.

Anto's Automotive Repair, 141 E Arrow Hwy, is an authorized Toys for Tots drop-off site. Toys will be accepted until Dec.15 and can be dropped off 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Crestwood Communities, a local family-owned residential homebuilding company, is hosting its “Wheelbarrows of Hope” toy drive. New unwrapped toys for infants to 12 years old may be dropped off through Wednesday, Dec. 19 at Crestwood Communities, 510 Citrus Edge Street, or at 215 South Valley Center.

Curves Glendora East, 1934 Rte 66 Suite B, is collecting toys for foster children with the Children Family Services Department in Glendora. The drop-off hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

LAFD and the Los Angeles County Fire Department are hosting a Spark of Love toy drive and will have toy drop off boxes at most southern California fire stations, including the four L.A. County fire stations in Glendora. Call for hours.

Coldwell Banker Millennium, 134 North Glendora Ave., is hosting a toy collection until mid-December. Toys can be dropped off during business hours.

Shepherd’s Pantry, 657 E. Arrow Hwy, is accepting food and clothing donations. The organization accepts donations Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visit their website for more information.
