Camille Bulot Looks to Become Glendora's Second Wipeout Winner

Nineteen-year-old Bulot follows in the heels of Anthony Traficante who took home the $50,000 top prize in an earlier episode.

, as 33-year old Anthony Traficante outlasted 23 other contestants to make it to the final wipeout zone and win the $50,000 top prize.

Glendora High graduate Camille Bulot, 19, looks to repeat Traficante’s feat as she recently participated in an episode of Wipeout to be aired this Thursday, April 14.

“It has been on my bucket list ever since I was a junior in high school,” Bulot said about her desire to participate in Wipeout.  “It was something that I wanted to do because I love doing it, and because my friends pushed me to do it.”

To be a contestant in “Wipeout," one needs to be over the age of 18, and pass a simple physical examination.

Bulot, a volleyball standout in Glendora High School and a current member on the Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team,  thought it would be easy to go through the different obstacles.

“I thought that because I was athletic,” she said.  “Boy, was I wrong.  Those were some of the hardest things I had to do on the show. There is no way to practice or prepare to be on Wipeout.”

For those who are thinking of participating in Wipeout, Bulot says to just do it.

“Just go for it,” she said.  “It was a once in a life time experience. I met people whom I still kept in touch with.
