Back to School Something to Celebrate at Glenkirk

With food, bounce houses and wheels, Glenkirk is kicking off the academic year.

Back to school shouldn’t mean the end of fun, and at Glenkirk Church the fun continues Friday night.

The church invites families for a celebration of Back to School Friday, Aug. 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glenkirk Church. The evening will include bounce houses, food from six local food trucks and a professional BMX stunt show by Perfection on Wheels.

Food trucks and bounce houses will run 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The BMX show will start at 6:15 p.m.

As admission for the event, attendees are asked to bring new or gently used backpacks to be donated to Shepherd’s Pantry.

Attendees are also invited to bring chairs for dinner and the show.
