August 7, 1985: Police Crack Down on Illegal Liquor Sales

Responding to complaints from local residents, police monitored liquor sales to minors, according to the Glendora Press.

The Glendora Police department sent undercover cadets to approach local businesses to nab owners selling alcohol to minors, reported the Glendora Press in its Aug.7, 1985 edition. 

When residents contacted Glendora Police with suspicions of illegal alcohol sales, 19-year-old undercover department cadets approached businesses to note of which establishments carded minor customers.
