Aug. 30: Register for Fall Recreation Classes, Movies at the Library and Public Hearing

Daily items of interest.

1) The City of Glendora has posted a notice for a public hearing regarding the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report for Fiscal Year 2010-2011. For more information including the date and time of the hearing click here.

2) Today is the first day for Glendora residents to register for fall recreation classes online or via mail. To view the fall guide see here.

3) There are several activities geared toward your young ones who are not in school yet. bookstore in La Verne will have storytime at 10 a.m., Blue Chair Children's Books will host at 10:30 a.m. and the will hold storytimes at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.

4) The will be hosting Tuesday Movies at the Library. Today's movie which begins at 3 p.m. will be Curious George.

5) Citrus College has just released its newsletter 'Citrus Rocks!' which highlights the achievements of its students and its staff. To view 'Citrus Rocks!' see here

GPD is great! The entire force protects this great city! There are many other facets that make GODRead More run smoothly. We cannot forget about the auxiliary, the cadets... So many other folks that also make GPD as great as it is!!!

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
