Low Income and Commercial Project Being Built

Did you know a low income housing and commercial retail complex is being built in Altadena in violation of the Community Plan and Zoning laws? Did you know there was no notice to the community that the project would contain 3 stories in violation of zoning and that the neighbor closest to the property was not notified?  Do you believe such activity which such an important impact on the community should be ignored?  If so contact Supervisor Antonovich and ask for a public hearing on the matter.  Thee is no three story office/commercial/apartment complex anywhere in the area of Altadena where the project is located.  It will stand out like a sore thumb.  The location is 1968 N. Lake Av 91001 in an incorporated area.  The site used to be Altadena Nursery.
