Community Corner

Holocaust speaker comes to Glendora

Art and History students at Sierra High School did a combined project last spring that caught the attention of Inge Auerbacher, a child survivor of Terezin Concentration Camp.  She travels the world sharing her message of hope, perseverence and courage. Inge will be speaking at Haugh Performing Arts Center, Citrus College, November 13th from 9:30-11:30.  Students from Gladstone HS will also be presenting "I Never saw Another Butterfly", a one-act play that is set in Terezin.  $10 community tickets can be purchased at Gladstone, Azusa and Sierra High School offices, or call Elaine Stricklin (626) 852-8304 for more information.
