Julius C. Jones, passed away October 24, 2012

Jay was a World War II Veteran, he was a humble man of honor and strength...Jay served his country as a young foot soldier marching through the streets of France as part of the liberating of the concentration camps in Germany.

He received the following decorations: *The Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, The Army of Occupational Medal.

Jay was known for his hard work and eagerness to help others, he took pride in his trade and was admired by all who worked with him.

When Jay wasn't providing for his family, he enjoyed planting vegetables in his garden and watching his beautiful sunflowers grow. In retirement Jay Moved to a ranch in Kingman, Arizona, and lived out the remainder of his years in Kingman, Arizona.

GPD is great! The entire force protects this great city! There are many other facets that make GODRead More run smoothly. We cannot forget about the auxiliary, the cadets... So many other folks that also make GPD as great as it is!!!
