2. Do you have an ancestor who fought in the American Civil War? Interested in learning more about Civil War history? The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War will meet 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the Peppertree Restaurant, 1020 East Route 66.

3. It’s Food Truck Wednesday at Glendora Friends Church! That means from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. food truck favorites will be wheeling to Glendora Friends Church, 827 S. Lone Hill Ave.
