This Week in Glendora: City Council to Discuss Proposed Bonnie Cove, Gladstone Development

1. The Glendora City Council will meet this week, continuing its discussion on a proposed general plan amendment that would allow the development of detached condominiums at Bonnie Cove Avenue and Gladstone Street. The City Council meets 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 116 E. Foothill Blvd.  Read the full agenda here.

2, The Glendora Public Library will host an Infant & Toddler Story Time this morning at 10:30 a.m.

3. Family, friends, and neighbors of Grace Episcopal Church are invited to dine and dance to the music of "Station 297," a classic rock band, 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at Grace Episcopal Church - Baxter Hall, 555 East Mountain View. Read more here.

4. Join a guided 1.5-mile walk starting at South Hills Park’s east terminus of Mauna Loa Avenue off Glendora Avenue starting at 8 a.m. The group will walk the Toyon, North Spur, Alosta Canyon, and Big Dalton Wash Trails. South Hills Park is located at 701 E. Mauna Loa Ave.

5. SING INC Glendora will host auditions Saturday, Sept. 28 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for California's Premier Performance Groups: Jr. Pop Academy, Pop Prep and Pop Academy. These groups have performed at Disneyland, County Fairs, Radio Station Events, and opened for acts like Little Mix and Cher Lloyd. Read more here.
