Petrillos, but you need to order it thin crust. Most people didn't know that little secret.

Believe it or not, Costco has the best pizza, and it's ten bucks for a large. Then again, Costco is in San Dimas, so I guess that doesn't count.

Roundtable... pedestrian, but always fresh. Made the way you want it. Bit pricey, but fresh is worth it.

I know that Roundtable Pizza is a chain, but they beat everyone else hands down!

Food taste is different for everyone. These contests are stupid, and hurt the local businesses. Editors are very unprofessional and have nothing better to do.

@Albert, as you say, people have different tastes, and these contests may not appeal to everyone. But I would say that even if businesses didn't win Patch's Best, many people have gone to some of these businesses because of these contests just to try them out. People have said they've gone to Ed's Place or Tommy's Burgers because they hadn't heard of them before seeing them on Patch, or it had been a long time that they had been there. The important thing is to get people through your doors, and it's up to customers', as you say, tastes if they want to continue going there.

Hazel,
Don't worry about comments such as from Mr. Sanchez. These kind of polls, while far from scientific, are fun, interesting and help spur thinking and conversation, which is a good thing. They get people to consider businesses they may have not considered, and it gets the businesses that did not poll well (or did not make it on to the poll) to try harder. Both are good things.

Fun? How would you feel if someone was saying negative things about you, not based on fact, but opinion only? Who would consider going to a business that people talk crap about? If opinion is important to you, mine is that you are stupid and know nothing about about the time, cost and dedication it takes into running business.
