Third Annual Wine Walk Comes to Glendora
The annual event aims to increase exposure of the downtown Village Center by bringing residents together for a festive evening.
Residents mingled, dined and sampled an eclectic array of wines at the third annual Wine Walk, Friday.
The event, organized by the Business Improvement District, is a way to increase exposure to Downtown Glendora and bring more foot traffic for businesses.
The event was defined as a "world tour" and featured nearly 30 wine tasting stops offering a wide variety of international wines, non-alcohol beverages and hors d’oeuvres.

We went, but were disappointed in the 25% increase in price. It didn't seem as busy. Maybe the price increase is the reason. Reports say there were 30 stations versus 35 last year. How many people attended? How did it compare to last year?

Last year when I did it, we heard someone shout out, "I am feeling a little loosey goosey." We could not help, but laugh for 30 minutes. More entertaining, because I don't drink. Timing is great, close to Mardi Gras!

My Real Estate office at Southland Properties was a station. Not sure total tickets yet, but I believe we sold more than we did last year. I was in my office the entire time with a constant stream of tasters. Heard it was fun outside at the plaza though. I hope everyone had fun.
