Four Arrested in 10 Freeway Proposal Stunt

Four men have been arrested in the I-10 Freeway proposal stunt that went viral on YouTube and garnered national attention.
In the clip that was posted on YouTube following the Jan. 27 stunt, up to 250 motorcyclists brought traffic to a standstill on the freeway so that Hector Martinez, 24, of Covina, could propose to his girlfriend.
The California Highway Patrol served arrest warrants for three men Thursday morning, according to The San Gabriel Valley Tribune. A fourth man turned himself in that day at the Baldwin Park office.

Martinez, Mike John David Gutierrez, 38, of Lynwood, Rudy Cadena, 24, of Long Beach and Giovanni Mendez, 19, of La Puente were arrested and charged with suspicion of misdemeanor public nuisance and participation in an unlawful assembly.
The controversial proposal took place on the I-10 east near Barranca Avenue at around 1:25 p.m.
